Learning Disabilities & Complex Needs
Person-centred support that promotes independence, choice and inclusion — helping individuals live life on their terms.
Every person is unique
Every person has their own talents, interests and dreams. Our specialised teams take time to truly understand each person — their communication style, preferences, sensory needs and what brings them joy. We focus on possibilities, celebrate achievements, and create an environment where independence can flourish and everyone feels valued and included.
Our approach
- Comprehensive support plans built around individual strengths and aspirations
- Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) for behaviours of concern — proactive, respectful and restraint-minimising
- Autism-informed practice: communication, routine, predictability and sensory awareness
- Support with daily living, health appointments, education, work and community participation
- Consideration of personal preferences, cultural background and family values
- Regular reviews as needs evolve, ensuring support remains empowering — never restrictive
Complex needs, integrated support
Many of the people we support have both a learning disability and significant health needs — epilepsy, dysphagia, enteral feeding or physical disabilities. Because we are a nurse-led provider, we can meet clinical and social support needs within a single, consistent team.
